John and Liz Blassingame's 2000 Maroonish Lincoln LS
Mission Statement:
Established the summer of 1996, car and truck enthusiast from the greater gateway area gathered to form a team of competition ready and show winning vehicles. With intentions of earning respect and a name that would stick, the club quickly became their philosophy from the beginning; "Be the biggest, the fastest, the lowest, and the loudest collection of custom cars in the Mid-West." The jealous ones that couldn't cut it were, are and always will be envious. As to where "En-V-uS" was born!
With that simple philosophy in mind, En-V-uS Midwest Custom Car and Truck Club began to develop a reputation of its own among the sport. With various "Club Participation Awards" and countless number of members placing at every show, En-V-uS became recognized and respected by the show scene as a strong and promising organization.
As with every prominent and dedicated club, a club must become host to a show. En-V-uS decided to throw its show at the end of the year, just as a way of saying thanks to all the friends we've made along the way, and to get together one last time before the summer ends. With the turnout of our second show topping off at almost 200 entries despite its sophomore mistakes, we knew that we have made it as a team, a club and a family.
The En-V-uS Midwest Custom Car and Truck Club has accomplished in just a few years what would take others a lifetime to build. We look forward to every car show, cruise night, and any other gathering that we get to see other clubs and show-goers at. We appreciate everyone that has ever supported us, and whole heartily thank you!
"You know anyone can make a sticker and call themselves a car club because it looks cool, but how many of them truly last? Well we are the real deal, we are the people who actually became a family of friends who are doing what they are doing because they love it so much. None of us would trade it in the world either, I know I wouldn't…besides we spent all that money on t-shirts and stickers!!!"
